Web Design Process

Choosing someone to Design Something so Important as a Website can be a little Scary! We want to eliminate that fear by giving you something to look at before you make the leap! So here is an example of what we do for you. If you already have a logo design that you like, we will work around the design as-well-as some design elements and features that we discuss beforehand.

Step One - Evaluate customer needs. Does your company already have existing branding, logos, information that can be downloaded from site, etc. What kind of image do you need to portray - corporate, humorous, informational, corporate or artistic. The initial meeting will outline the important aspects of design and usability for your target audience. If you need a logo, we can talk about different designs and options also.

Step Two - Content Evaluation. Once we determine what market to target, we will determine the number of pages and main topics. Generally we can decide on the page titles for the navigation at this point; the actual text can be provided during the creation of the site.

Step Three - Design "mock-up." Once we have a general idea of how you want your site to look, we create design pages for you to look at and evaluate. We discuss layout, design, and graphic additions or changes while you view the prototype.

Step Four - Site Development. This exciting stage is where you see the designs come to life on the pages. Behind the scenes we are optimizing graphics for web viewing, testing for quality assurance and browser compatibility.

Step Five - Site Launch. After you give the final approval on your site that you view from our development server, your site will then go live. Now all the hard work pays off and the rewards of a great web presence will soon follow.

Step Six - Site Promotion. Time to start attracting all the Search Engines and Web Surfers. Although this step is optional, we highly recommended indexing your site with as many major search engines and directories as possible.

Step Seven - Support. We will continue to provide you with support. We are very customer centered, so feel free to contact us and we will assist you.
